In February of this year, 2010, I purchased a course from Marcus Campbell. I paid about $315.00 that included the added shipping. I was learning affiliate marketing from my computer with Marcus Campbell's Desktop Version 1.27.

I was starting to learn a lot from the material on the program. I was doing this at my own pace and I was watching the videos several times so that the information would sink in. At some point, in about a month, the program quit working. I called on the phone. I emailed support. I emailed Marcus from every email address that I could find on his sites. NO reply!

I have noticed that Clickbank is still selling this same course that I bought. Marcus may have had a lot of bad feedback about charging people over $300 for a month to have the privilege of watching his videos in that short amount of time. You would have to be an Einstein to take that much data in and remember it fully in just a month.

I say that Marcus may have had some bad feedback about his course because I have also noticed that Marcus is selling his monthly subscription as his course now. This costs $97 a month. Wow! This sounds more honest but that price is out of sight in my opinion. It may take you three to six months to really get a handle on affiliate marketing if you are starting from scratch. Learning how to use a WYSIWYG and WordPress is no walk in the park. You need to be very familiar with these two programs to be able to proceed on your own in Affiliate Marketing.....in my opinion.

I feel that $315.00 for about a month worth of information is not worth the money.

I watched the sales video that I bought this course from several times. There was never a mention that this product would quit working after 30 days. There was no mention on the sales page said that I had to pay some other monthly fee to keep it working. If I had seen that I would have looked elsewhere for an affiliate marketing course.

Also, in the sales video, Marcus was showing over a dozen CD videos that were part of the course that would come with my package. I never got those CD videos that were supposed to be part of the course. I did see later, after my course was turned off, that Marcus was selling these videos for $97.00 as a separate package. In my mind, Marcus was selling my CD videos that I already paid for. If I had gotten these promised CD videos, I may not have written this blog.

By the way, this will not be my only blog on this subject. I will Squido this information just as I am doing here. When I get two domains that I am considering, I will post once with WordPress on one domain and with an HTML editor on the other domain. I may help others to make their decision to look elsewhere for help in learning about affiliate marketing.

Now I am just making it known to the World that I had a bad experience with a Marcus Campbell product. I am doing this so that you can make your own mind up if you are looking for a course in affiliate marketing. I just hope your experience will not go on the same course as mine.
So, you be the judge. Is what I have described here a scam? Was Marcus Campbell scamming me with some deceptive rhetoric? Or.....have others had the same experience?

In my mind, it would be hard for Marcus to explain away what happened to me. I am sure that Marcus has some explanation for this happening to me. I can't imagine that I am the only one that has had this happen to them with Marcus.

I would appreciate it if you post your experience here if you have or have not been able to contact Marcus. I can't get him to respond to me. Maybe you can get him to answer. Maybe you can get past the busy signal on the phone. Your experience will be interesting to hear.

As far as my Affiliate Marketing education goes....I decided not to pursue any other contact with Marcus Campbell because of the experience that I had. I mean, I feel that I lost money and I have found it impossible to contact Marcus. Instead of crying over losing $300 and losing more time trying to fix this situation.....I just moved on to find another person or a course that could help me.

In my research to find a teacher and a complete Affiliate Marketing course, I simply went to ClickBank and found another person that was marketing an Affiliate Marketing course. I had to start somewhere so I tried Mark Ling's Affilorama course. This course is what I am now using to learn affiliate marketing. I am very pleased with the information and instruction that I have gotten.

In my research, I could not find any other course that was as complete Mark Lings for under $200 or more than $200. There is another monthly fee that you can be charged to get on Mark Lings Premium site. This costs $67 monthly and this includes hosting. You do not have to buy this to get the course that I am recommending. I Just recommend the course without the monthly fee if you are just starting out and you do not want to spend a lot of money to see if you will like affiliate marketing.

Give Mark Ling's course a try if you are interested and need an extra income as I do.

I will link you below.

When you get to this site, scroll down the page and look at the right side of the page for Affiloblueprint. This is the course that is less than $200. This is a twelve week course that gives you goals to complete each week. At the end of the course you should be able to start making money online. This course is a logical progression of learning like any College or High School course. I highly recommend it.

Good Luck with your affiliate marketing education,

  1. I also had a bad experience with marcus cambell I bought his program in march of 2010 & it was suppose to be a complete set of cds teaching you different aspects of internet marketing but what I got was a box with a manual & 1 cd that loads a program on your computer that links to his site only you can not see what the website address is & the main reason that I bought the program was that it was suppose to come with 90 days free support from marcus so if you had questions or problems along the way he was suppose to be there to help you thru email or phone. Well when I went to sign up for the free 90 day program it tried to charge you $1 & then when I had questions or problems marcus never responded. & at the end of the FREE 90 support there was nothing saying how to cancel it so again I tried to email & phone macus several times to cancel at least a week ahead of the end of the 90 day support. No response from Marcus & then I was charged for the next months support which overdrew my bank account. Then about a year later he was having a webinar about a coaching program he was giving I wrote a comment on his site saying about how people should be aware that he doesnt follow through with his support & then all of a sudden I get an email from marcus asking what problems I had & what were my questions & so I told him my questions that I had & that he charged my account after repeated requests to cancel my account.
He never answered any of the quetions, never refunded me the $99 & tried to talk me into purchasing his present coaching which was like $800 & that he would give me a $200 discount. Marcus why would I do that when you never answered my questions & never refunded my $99. He said back then that his support was not set up correctly & things got messed up. But comeon no answering several emails or returning phone calls when I left you several messages with my name email & phone no. I still see similar comments from people saying he never responds to questions so that leads me to believe he still ignoring peoples emails

  3. Marcus is just a plain thief! I purchased his product. Next thing I knew, he had saved my card details and charged me out of nowhere $497. I contacted him and he couldn't explain the charge. He just said "That's Odd and That's weird" 3 months later and a lot of lies later including saying that he had refunded the money. I've got nothing. Do not give this dude your card details. He will blatantly steal your money! You've been warned!

  4. Marcus is a legit teacher but not what you need to really learn affilite marketing.. There's 2 big forums if you're actually serious about pursuing affiliate marketing. My favorite is Affplaybook http://goo.gl/8qamJq
